It is rightly said, you come and leave this
earth alone but did anyone comment on what do you live with when you are on this planet? It is the love, support and abuses from our loving friends.
Let me share one of my favorite experience!
Right from the time I started my school, I had
bunch of friends which I do not remember truly, but they do! They keep telling
me that they were sitting in front, behind or besides me and they do remember
all the moments with me (The ones which makes me embarrassed). Although it has
been 12 years for me, I do remember some of them and those some who meant
everything to me were my best friends.
I was in the 4th standard, when we
all were elected as prefects and all we used to look for is some excuse to leave
the class. I remember getting caught by the head master and being punished with
those stupid friends and then laughing outside the office with our hand up.
As we entered into secondary, we met new people.
We included them and made a group! We were called “School Rockers”. Unlike
others, we used to sit together in the recess and open tiffens and literally
hog. I personally loved popcorn and I made sure to get bucket of popcorn for my
group and we used to laugh, annoy and giggle and have the best out of those 15
minutes.
Borrowing books and pens were must!
We all had that friend who we laughed on because
he was slapped by someone in front of the whole group. The group would be
supportive at that moment but those teases were stuck with you till the
farewell day of your school.
We had many and many fights, arguments with the
teachers but these all ended at the end of the year.
We friends fought too but we believed in “Forgive
and Forget”
Some were egoistic while some were innocent and
we mixed well.
There was always one person in the group who
would make fun of you and you would not like him, but at last he was the only
moral support you needed.
We all have such friends who term out enemies as
our best friends and laugh on this.
We had super unity high five and bro fists!
Some memories of the camp which ended by saying
“Whatever happened in the camp, stays in
camp”
But we all opened it up and no one felt bad.
Many enemies turned into friends and many worst
teachers turned into the best teachers.
PT periods would be so much fun and rains were
the pain then.
For the boys, they were sure to get caught with
long hair and then asked to trim them.
We all got remarks and was caught not signed by
the parents.
Mass bunking was our favourite and the person
coming to the group would be the target of the whole group.
We all had best friends birthday parties and
those talks would go on and on till a life time.
We all had group selfies which would be on our
display pictures of years.
Some Position or popularity meant so much to us.
Because, these were the only people you were comfortable and could enjoy the fullest!
And the real friendship test was on the exams
day when the best friend had to show the answers as it was the matter of life
and death.
We all said, “Didn’t study” or “I hope I at least
pass” and then got super cool marks in the result.
Every group had one topper who was the life
saver during exams.
Those nick names and one favorite song to be
sung during lectures.
On the day of Farewell, It was not possible to
accept the fact that we will not be allowed to this school again ever after.
There were many such memories and many more to come.
Now, After farewell there are many people crying
because we all could feel the break of this strong bond but the ones who stayed
strong were the true friends.
Our priorities will change, our group will
change but whenever you all have a reunion, you will realise the value of the
group you had!
Personally sitting with my favorite
people,Namely: Ryan, Darsh, Parth, Arshaan, Nikita, Shruti, Anjali, Sareena,
Lynessa, Zenya, Melita, Rachel, Rochelle ,some from the gym: Apurwa, Arbaaz, Nidhi
and some more who I cannot recollect were the best people I got in my life!
With them I feel…
We sign our cards and letters BFF
You've got a million ways to make me laugh
You're lookin' out for me; you've got my back
It's so good to have you around
You know the secrets I could never tell
And when I'm quiet you break through my shell
Don't feel the need to do a rebel yell
Cause you keep my feet on the ground
[Chorus 1]
You're a true friend
You're here till the end
You pull me aside
When something ain't right
Talk with me now and into the night
'Til it's alright again
You're a true friend
[Verse 2]
You don't get angry when I change the plans
Somehow you're never out of second chances
Won't say "I told you" when I'm wrong again
I'm so lucky that I've found
[Chorus 2]
A true friend
You're here till the end
You pull me aside
When something ain't right
Talk with me now and into the night
'Til it's alright again
[Bridge]
True friends will go to the end of the earth
Till they find the things you need
Friends hang on through the ups and the downs
Cause they've got someone to believe in
[Chorus 3]
A true friend
You're here till the end
You pull me aside
When something ain't right
Talk with me now and into the night
No need to pretend
You're a true friend
You're here till the end
Pull me aside
When something ain't right
Talk with me now and into the night
'Til it's alright again
You're a true friend [3x]
Hope you could
recollect to some of the memories of mine.
Share is a must :)
